Obituary

Yolanda De Hoyos, born January 13, 1943 in Uvalde, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her mother, Josephine Preciado; father, Alberto Preciado Sr.; and brother, Alberto R. Preciado Jr. She is survived by her significant other, Jose Arce;  children, Glenn Ray Rodriguez and wife, Brenda, Libby Ann Rodriguez, and Gina Marie Hobbs and husband, Robert Brandon; siblings, Henry De Hoyos, Esmeralda Preciado-Gaghan, Hector Preciado, and Aaron Preciado; 6 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. For over 35 years, Yolanda dedicated her professional life to Women's Health as a Registered Medical Assistant employed with various women's clinics, doctor's offices in San Antonio, Wichita Falls, and Dallas, Texas. In 1997, she was a graduate of The School of Natural Healing in Dallas, Texas as a Holistic Healer. Yolanda was passionate about women's rights, empowering women and counseling women through health decisions. She was a true believer in natural medicine and was a successful business owner of Bienestar Naturista in Dallas, TX where she practiced Rieki, Massages, Iridology and healing with natural herbs. After retiring, she relocated to Von Ormy, Texas where she purchased her land, created her home where she enjoyed her family and living the ranch life. Visitation will be at Castillo Mission Funeral Home on Friday, October 16, from 3 to 7:30pm with a rosary being recited at 6pm. Funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Saturday, October 17 at 9:30am for a 10am Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Services will conclude at church.
