Yolanda Hernandez was surrounded by loved ones when she passed from this life on December 20, 2021. Yolanda was born to Sofia R. Rodriguez and Rodolfo Hernandez Sr. on October 6, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas. She was a very independent and vibrant personality from the beginning. She was known for her sassiness, but equally known for her loving and caring nature.

Yolanda graduated from Palo Alto College with her degree in bookkeeping. She never had children of her own, but she took on the role of motherhood with her nieces and nephews. She eventually settled in Castroville, Texas with her husband Daniel B. Martinez. She was employed as a bookkeeper by the Edgewood school district for 23 years.

Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Maria; and brothers: Antonio, Ricky, and Eugene. She is survived by her husband Daniel B. Martinez, her sister Millie; brothers: Rudy, Felipe, and Francisco; her stepchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Yolanda will forever be remembered for bringing joy and laughter to those around her. She will be missed tremendously by her family, and friends.
