Beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, Yolanda Ruiz Russo, was called home to be with the lord on October 12, 2024 at the age of 70. She was born on February 16, 1954 in San Antonio, Texas to the late Sirenio C. Ruiz and Elisa Colunga Ruiz.

Yolanda is reunited in Heaven with her daughter, Lisa Marie Ruiz, parents, Sirenio and Eliza Ruiz; her brother, Gilbert Alvarez; and sister, Elisa Chavez.

Her memory will live on through her children, Ernest Torres (Yvonne), Jeffrey Torres (Misty), Stacy Gonzales (Mike), Nicole Farias, and Sonny Russo; siblings, Sonia Santillian (Fernando), Maria Santos, Fernando Alvarez (Anna), and Emiterio Alvarez (Minerva); sister-in-law Delia Alvarez; nineteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Yolanda will be forever cherished and missed by all who knew her. Heaven has gained a treasured soul.
